Deborah\d(e)-bo-rah\ is pronounced DEB-er-ah. Unless you are my grandfather who in his lovely british accent would exaggerate the name and pronounce it Dee-bore-ahhh ..this from the same man who thought Sarah would be a fitting name for me ( which although I would have preferred it too-it was great grandma's name) but never happened.. I think mum might have regretted not using the name Sarah too...only because she felt it more fitting due to the fact she thought I was a bit like Sarah Bernhardt- the ultimate drama queen...
and I even got a book from mum and dad one Christmas..I gather by that age..and I cant remember when exactly..that maybe they wanted me to find a career as an actress..hmmmm,,,
