Happy Fathers Day!

Dad....Ive been thinking about you and I lately......We have had many interesting times in my 50 years as your daughter. I know we dont always see eye to eye on some things..  I dont always have an interest in some of the topics that you find intriguing ... although I still find it great that we are comfortable enough with each other to be able to chat about almost anything and even if our humour is foreign to most, I do smile in  the knowledge  that that witty & sarcastic humour is the best thing Ive learned from you.  I do appreciate having  coffee with you on a random Sunday mornings or dinners with you and mum when its just us....hearing about  the humourous way you scope out the freaks in your neighbourhood and the running commentary on what they do day to day that gets under your skin...and If Ive learned anything from you over the years its that humour can get you through almost anything.. no matter how much or how little you have.. and to make the most of what this life throws our way...even if it means to just make light of things that may drive us crazy... I love that about you Dad..and although I may not tell you enough or show you enough

..I do love you with all my heart..I always have and I always will
