I really couldn't say when it actually started .. I was always small in public school.. and skinny- Im not sure of my weight then because I wasnt really obsessed about it then..
I know I was 4'11 all thru public school and didnt have a further growth spurt until the end of grade nine ..and then I shot up to a mere 5' 4 1/2" ( and dont forget the half!!)and stayed at that height until now.. hmmm..I knew I wasnt really in great shape then but was average.approximately 130 lbs.I rarely worked out..but then my metabolism was working for me instead of against me then(giggle)..and if I did exercise it didnt take long to get into shape. It seemed for every birthday and every holiday..my mum would spoil us with her cooking and baking ..she would make sweets and decadent cakes and tarts and pies... and the peanut butter balls at Christmas ...omigod to die for!!! lol...She was doing what she knew best ..we always had 3 square meals aday and every Sunday was the Roast Beast dinner with loads of potatoes, yorkshire pudding and 18 garden vegetables It wasnt until I was much older ..my late twenties or so that I began to question the damage I was doing.
